Dear LifeStream Family and Friends,

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the events of these past weeks, as they have once again shined a light on the racism that continues to create so much pain for so many.

LifeStream’s mission is driven by our resolve to be “compelled by Christ’s love.” Christ’s love is not seen, felt or realized through racism. Every single person, no matter what the color of their skin, has value, meaning and significance to Christ. Christ loves everyone – and commands us to do the same (John 13:34).

Because LifeStream is compelled by Christ’s love, we stand against the evil of racism. We stand with every person who has been marginalized – who doesn’t feel safe – who is not treated with the respect, meaning and value that Christ sees in all people.

We lift our prayers for all of the families who have lost a loved one because of the color of their skin.

We lift our prayers for those people who have not been seen as equal or have been judged because of the color of their skin.

We lift our prayers for those who are protesting, marching and speaking out; we pray that those messages of inequality are truly heard.

We lift our prayers for our men and women of service who are working diligently to protect the rights of those who are speaking out against racism.

We lift our prayers for the voices, cries of pain, and tears of our brothers and sisters – that they lead to true and lasting heart change. And that heart change leads to meaningful and lasting reconciliation.

LifeStream will continue to pray for, and long to see, a world where every single person is valued as Christ values them.

Yours in Christ,
Ron Estes
